I know I haven’t posted in a while and it may seem like I left the country…oh wait – I did! Our family took a vacation and went north to Canada. We visited Toronto and Niagara Falls and we had a wonderful time. I’m back now and will start posting some reviews of books I’ve been reading soon. Traveling with me on my trip was my ARC of the upcoming Three Little Words by Susan Mallery. Here is a picture of the book enjoying the Toronto Islands with the CN Tower in the background. No – I did not go to the CN tower. I’m terrified of heights and the thought of going up there made my stomach turn. Three Little Words will be available 7/30 and can be pre-ordered now. I enjoyed Ford and Isabel’s story and my full review will post on release day.
So, where has everyone gone on vacation lately?
Yay me today! I love when I win free stuff and thanks to the great gang over at Kindles and Wine I was a winner in their mega blogiversary giveaway. I won:
The Romance at Random and Loveswept/Flirt Prize Pack #1, which includes:
- a Loveswept totebag
- a Loveswept mug
- a signed hardcover copy of The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe
- a hardcover copy of The Proposal by Mary Balogh
I’ve not read either book so I will post reviews once I read them. The Proposal sounds up my alley. The Sweetest Dark sounds maybe paranormal which I typically don’t read a lot.
Tell me – have you read either book and what did you think? Were any of you winners as well?
Among the prize packs was a Susan Mallery Fool’s Gold pack. I hope that winner enjoys reading the “Summer” Fool’s Gold books and loves their stuffed Webster the German shepherd puppy. I want Webster myself!
Well – I’m still learning what I’m doing, but I’m creating this blog to talk about books and anything else that strikes me. I’m also going to be doing a lot of cheering this summer for Susan Mallery and her Fool’s Gold series as I am one of her 2013 FG Cheerleaders!
